It’s infinitely easier for me to write stuff for kids than for parents specifically. I used to be a kid and never been a parent so in theory this kinda makes sense. I’m still trying to grasp how is it possible that I find it easier to communicate with a seven year old than with someone my age. Maybe it’s because I’m the one who gives kids glitter, and the parents are the ones who gotta clean it up afterwards.
Somehow I managed to write my first article for parents, about how coding is real magic and why kids are much better at this than adults. It’s in Polish, but there’s a small Codepen doodle at the end where you can play around a little bit, and get a feel of how coding feels like if you’ve never tried it before.
Who knows, maybe you’ll get a hang of shaping reality with your hands?
